Maddie is a recent BYU Animation grad with 3+ years of experience in character design and visual development, and just won a student Oscar and Emmy for the short 'Student Accomplice'. Aiming to utilize skills from past experience to further a director's vision, Maddie thrives in team environments but is also committed to independently solving design and story problems.

  • Created weekly character lineups, coloring pages, and production-ready assets within an established style

  • Adapted episodes into books and edited short-form videos for clear, consistent storytelling

  • Developed stylized character concepts, reference sheets, and production-conscious designs from script and story needs

  • Created turnarounds, test sheets, expressive poses, and character beats to clarify personality, gesture, and 3D translation
